 Laugh • Stay • Dance (2006) "Laugh • Stay • Dance" is a celebratory work, inspired by positive feedback cycles of good feeling. The theme is first introduced as an unpitched rhythm, and is chased through the piece in a fugal manner. Three independent lines dance around each other in counterpoint, eventually colliding at the climax. |
